Silent Meditation Retreat
Laguna de Apoyo
A full day of silence on the Apoyo Lagoon shore with guided meditation sessions and mindful meals.
Why this exists.
No talking from sunrise to sundown.
Sister Yolanda studied with teachers in Thailand and now runs a small retreat center on the Apoyo Lagoon shore. One-day retreats are the introduction — four 45-minute meditation sessions, three silent meals, free time between sessions to walk in the forest or rest in the garden. The silence rule is firm: no talking, no phones, no reading. There's a closing talk at the end of the day. A solitary experience even in a group — each person does their own retreat.
